Key Responsibilities:

• Own the master production labor schedule across all active projects and departments, coordinating crew assignments based on Department Manager requirements and Operations priorities.
• Maintain clear, real-time and forward-looking visibility into departmental bandwidth, crew availability, project demands, installations, strikes, and overlapping production schedules.
• Proactively identify staffing gaps, scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and projected overtime before they impact production, recommending schedule adjustments or additional labor as needed.
• Track estimated, scheduled, and actual labor hours by project and department, flagging significant variances and labor overruns to the Operations Manager and appropriate Project Manager while corrective action is still possible.
• Monitor labor utilization and overtime trends, identifying opportunities to redistribute resources, supplement crews, or expand Tractor Vision's production labor pool to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary overtime.
• Coordinate with Department Managers to understand upcoming crew requirements, skill needs, production milestones, and resource demands, while maintaining visibility across the company's broader operational needs.
• Partner closely with the Resources Department—including Labor, Facilities, and Logistics to anticipate freelance staffing, production space, equipment, trucking, deliveries, load-outs, installations, and strike requirements.
• Coordinate competing and overlapping production needs across fabrication, logistics, installation, live events, and strike, escalating priority or resource conflicts to the Operations Manager when necessary.
• Serve as the right hand to the Operations Manager, maintaining schedules, dashboards, labor reporting, capacity information, and operational action items needed to support timely decision-making.
• Communicate schedule changes and operational decisions clearly across affected departments and ensure follow-up through completion.
• Maintain a proactive view of upcoming workload and identify recurring staffing or skill shortages that may require expansion of the company's regular or freelance production labor pool.
• Help develop and continuously improve production scheduling, labor planning, capacity management, and resource-allocation systems as Tractor Vision grows.
